“Wanting it fixed , just got the car and looked it up and seen that it had a recall”

NHTSA complaint, filed 04/14/2023

“The SRS light has come on in our 2001 Honda CR-V. Diagnostics at the dealership revealed that the control module is defective, and Honda does not cover its replacement. This is a safety issue, as the airbags will not deploy with the SRS light on. Honda should be responsible for this. Please issue a recall. It appears this issue has been occurring for several years.”

NHTSA complaint, filed 01/21/2022

“The contact owned a 2001 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at 25 mph, another vehicle had run a stop sign and the contact's vehicle crashed into the rear driver side door of the other vehicle. None of the air bags deployed upon impact. No medical attention was received. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a gas station.”
